"The Chamber of Commerce for Irish Business Owners and
Professionals"
Long Island, New York
We are an organization composed of Irish and
Irish-American business owners and professional men and women who
invest their time and money in a development program for the entire
Irish-American community of Long Island. We strive to improve the
economic, social, cultural, commercial, industrial and civic
well-being of the Irish population of Nassau and Suffolk counties.
Our main purpose is to promote business growth and development. Our Network enables Irish and Irish-American
owners and business professionals to accomplish collectively what no
one could or would be able to do individually. It gives us a voice
in civic affairs and government and provides a united effort to
improve the overall well-being of the Irish-American community of
Long Island. The objective of the Irish Business Network is to connect Irish Businesses nad to assure progressive and
orderly community development, support effective government at all
levels, and maintain a good climate for an expanding economy.
Events include business dinners, business networking events,
informal gatherings, outings to various sporting events, and group
visits to Halls owned by local divisions of the Ancient Order of
Hibernians.
The IBN partners with other
organizations in Nassau and Suffolk counties to promote events of
Irish-American interest.
The Irish Business Network is a
non-denominational organization which seeks to promote, foster and
advance the business interests of Irish and Irish-American business
people in the Long Island area. Membership is open to all with an
Irish connection by birth, ancestry, work, residence, study or
merely interest. Members receive a listing in our online business
directory, free admission to quarterly networking events, free
subscription to our newsletter, member-to-member discounts,
quarterly flyer advertisements, and updates on other items of
interest to the Irish-American community.
The Irish Business
Network's regular networking events and meetings provide a unique
forum for Irish and Irish-American business people, creating a Long
Island Network of Irish Business Professionals. The Irish Business
Network is chartered to encourage and increase the business
interests of its members, promote and facilitate Irish Business
Networking opportunities for its members, and promote programs
designed to improve the economic, intellectual, and social status of
its members.
